WHY ROONEY FOR CONGRESS?
Tom is a political outsider. He believes the people of District 16 are looking for a new beginning, a fresh start. District 16 is Republican-leaning by more than 30,000 registered voters.

Tom Rooney offers a new beginning of traditional conservatism. Tom believes in the Republican tenants of less taxes, less spending, more freedom. Tom is also socially conservative in the spirit of President Ronald Reagan. Tom Rooney can raise the money necessary to defeat Tim Mahoney. Tom may not be a career politician but has served his country in the armed services, his state in the Attorney General’s office, and his community as the director of a local orphanage. Tom Rooney has dedicated his life to serving others, now he wants to serve the people of CD 16 as their U.S. Congressman.
