Happy 4th of July

July 4th, 2008 at 02:54pm Boru

Dear Friends,
I want to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a happy Independence Day on the 232nd birthday of our great nation. As we celebrate with family and friends, it is important to remember the freedoms we enjoy today and those who fought for our freedoms. We are truly blessed by divine providence to call ourselves American.
When elected to Congress, I will be a tireless advocate for our freedoms, and I pledge to secure our border, cut taxes and lower gas prices. Washington is in need of new conservative leadership, not the same old career politicians.

I will also work to ensure our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan are given the tools they need to win the War on Terror.
This Independence Day, I ask you to join Team Rooney and help us take back Washington. We are working hard to reach every voter and build a strong grassroots network across the 16th district. Your participation is crucial to our mission to defeat Tim Mahoney.
Please visit my website at www.tomrooney.com for more information on how you can get involved. Together we can make a difference for our children and future generations.
Every year, I spend the 4th of July at my local American Legion with friends and family to celebrate the birthday of this great country. May you and yours have a safe and happy 4th of July.

Sincerely,

Tom Rooney
