We Did It Again! Thank You.

Thanks to you and those like you across Florida’s 16th District, we have once again led the GOP field by raising $139,000 in the first quarter of 2007. That makes four quarters in a row!
We’ve continued to be the “hardest working” campaign in Florida.

Ex-POW Denton Endorses Rooney

Retired Navy Admiral and former U.S. Sen. Jeremiah Denton has endorsed Republican Tom Rooney in the three-way GOP race for the congressional seat of freshman Democratic U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney.

Denton, 83, was a Vietnam POW for more than 7 years. He gained international fame, and was later awarded the Navy Cross, for using his eyes to blink “T-O-R-T-U-R-E” in Morse code when his captors trotted him out for a 1966 TV propaganda appearance.

Stuart Grassroots BBQ

Rooney Martin County Chairman Stephen Leighton and supporter John Maiucci, organized a BBQ along the river in Downtown Stuart this weekend. Over 50 supporters came out to hear Tom Rooney’s message of strengthening our national security and returning to real fiscal responsibility.
